Dr. Amyn Rajani is a Consultant Knee, Shoulder & Hip Surgeon with over two decades of experience, specialising in arthroscopy, joint replacement and robotic surgery. He is affiliated with Breach Candy Hospital, PD Hinduja Hospital (Khar) and Saifee Hospital.

Dr. Rajani excels in Uni-Compartment and Total Knee Replacement, Reverse and Total Shoulder Replacement, and Reconstructive Arthroscopy, with a notable proficiency in robotic and revision surgeries.

Dr. Rajani's academic achievements include a Gold Medal in Orthopaedic Surgery from LTMMC & Sion Hospital, Mumbai in the year 2004, and international training in countries such as Canada, the UK, Germany, and Australia. He is certified in robotic-assisted joint replacement. He also serves as a reviewer for the ISAKOS Journal, Journal of Arthroplasty & Indian Journal of Orthopaedics. He has presented at national and international conferences.

His accolades include the MV Sant Prize, the Lupin Orthopaedic Award, and a spot in the Limca Book of Records for successfully performing a knee replacement on a 98-year-old patient, the oldest in India in 2014.

In 2025 a 128kg patient underwent a one stage Bilateral Unicompartment (Partial) Knee Replacement. This was the heaviest patient in India to undergo this surgery and Dr. Amyn Rajani earned a spot in India Book of Records for successfully performing this surgery.

Outside Orthopaedic Surgery

Outside orthopaedic surgery, Dr. Rajani enjoys music, swimming and travel. His wife, Dr. Alisha Rajani, a skilled radiologist, adeptly manages the day-to-day operations of their esteemed OAKS Clinic. Together, they have built a life centered on their two beautiful daughters, whom Dr. Rajani adores.

A significant and delightful presence in their family is Hazel, a charming Maltese, who Dr. Rajani affectionately refers to as his third daughter. This bond underscores the warmth and affection that characterize his household.

Beyond his professional achievements, Dr. Rajani harbours a profound passion for music. His dedication to this art form is evident through his training in playing both the Congo and the Keyboard. This musical inclination offers him a creative outlet and a means of expression that balances his demanding career.

In addition to his musical pursuits, Dr. Rajani is an avid swimmer, finding solace and vigour in the water. His love for swimming is complemented by a deep-seated desire to explore the world. Traveling with his beloved family, he delights in experiencing diverse cultures and landscapes, enriching their lives with shared adventures and memories.
